Fees & initial review

Fee structure depends on the type of matter. All engagements require a written fee agreement before legal work begins.

Is the initial case review free?
Yes. Submitting the case eligibility form or calling during business hours starts a free case review. That review is for routing and general information — it does not create an attorney-client relationship and is not legal advice.
Personal injury and insurance claims
In appropriate cases, car-accident injury and wind/hail property-damage claims may be handled on a contingent fee: the attorney fee is a percentage of any recovery, and no attorney fee is charged if there is no recovery. Case expenses are separate and are set out in a written fee agreement. See the personal injury page for details.
Litigation, corporate, bankruptcy, and local counsel
Commercial litigation, corporate transactions, Chapter 11, foreclosure defense, and local-counsel engagements are typically billed on an hourly, flat-fee, or retainer basis agreed in writing. Contingent-fee terms on other pages do not apply to these matters unless a written agreement says otherwise.
How much does a litigation attorney cost in Dallas?
Rates vary by matter complexity, urgency, and scope. Newark Law Offices does not publish a fixed hourly rate online. Call the Dallas office at 972-332-5733 or request a case review to discuss fee structure for your specific situation.
